Paint High Built Epoxy Anti Skid Coatings for Vehicle and Air Craft Floorings

In highly vulnerable and fast action combat zones soldier being transported by land and air platforms require swift egress and ingress form the aircraft or the APC’s which demands the flooring to be anti-skid providing firm grip to the soldiers foot avoiding fall or fatalities. Additionally, coatings demonstrate excellent weatherability and are resistant to extreme climatic conditions making it an excellent choice for application on ramps and other surfaces demanding non-skid performance, in high altitude areas.

Aether Low Solar Absorbing high build Epoxy Two component antiskid coating enhancer is designed for application on decks, floorings and similar platforms which require to provide firm grip for moving personnel. Prevents loss of coefficient of friction when coated over primed epoxy surfaces. The product has a non-reflective matte appearance and provides maximum adhesion, toughness, wear resistance and excellent weather ability. The pigments used in the coating contain special colors which minimize Infra-red absorption thus minimizing deck temperatures.

Also, they demonstrate excellent resistance to extreme climatic conditions making it an obvious choice for coating surfaces and ramps which demand non-skid performance in high altitude areas.

Application Instructions

The Preferred Method of application of non-skid Coating is by a Nap Roller, but can also be readily applied by Brush or Spray.

Surface Preparation / Cleaning

The surface should be sand blasted adhering to SA 2.5 specifications. Surface should be free of oil, grease,dust and loose particles.For mechanical cleaning surface should be sand blasted to min. ST 2 standards. Soundly prepared surfaces will lead to a better paint application.When used over old coating systems,the surface must be clean,dry and properly anchored.

Safety, Handling, Storage, Shelf Life:

Store in a cool ( ~25°C ) and dry area, and keep away from direct sun light. For detailed handling procedures please refer to product's MSDS. When stored properly, product has a 1 Year shelf life.
