Paint Polyurethane Aliphatic Exterior Matt Fire Retardant Coatings for Blast Protection

Infrared detection is employed by armies for detection of hostility in low light and pitch dark scenarios. It is also useful to detect camouflaged presence of hostile forces. However, application of IRR resistant coatings completely negates the possibility of any kind of detection when exposed to IR light or beam. Excellent coating for land based combat equipment and plateforms.

Aether IRR Polyurethane coating is Highly Infra Red Reflective produced by high Temperature Calcinations combined with Chemical Agent Resistant coating properties. The Pigments used in the Coating have excellent UV and Visible Opacity, are Chemically inert, Heat Resistant and is stable to Ultra Violet Light. It is Non-bleeding and Non-migratory. It has Low Heat Buildup with exceptional Durability and Contrast Ratio. The Coating is compatible with most Mil Grade Primers.

A High Solids Solvent based Two Pack P U Coating designed for use on Military Vehicles and Ground Equipments. When Used on Appropriate primer the dried finishing Coating fulfills Infra Red Camouflage requirements of DEF STAN 00-23.

Surface Preparation / Cleaning

Sand Blast the surface to min. Sa 2.5. Surface should be free of oil, grease, dust and loose particles. For mechanical cleaning surface should be sand blasted to min. St 2.A sound prepared surface will lead to a better paint application. When used over old coating systems, the surface must be clean, dry and properly anchored.

Safety, Handling, Storage, Shelf Life:

Store in a cool ( ~25°C ) and dry area, and keep away from direct sun light. For detailed handling procedures please refer to product's MSDS. When stored properly, product has a 1 Year shelf life.
