Paint Polyurethane Aliphatic Exterior Matt Anti Microbial Coating

Extended exposure to moist conditions at high altitudes and climatic zones like Polar, Tropical and Tundra pose grave threat to in-service equipment in these regions. South Asia subcontinent typically experiences major climatic shifts exposing combat equipment to a variety of conditions of which moisture in the air can induce microbial or fungal growth marring equipment usability and its in-service life.

Athers' Anti Fungal, Anti Mildew Protective Elastomeric Mastic Coating is engineered with the synergy of tough Acrylic Polyol resin cross linked with aliphatic isocyanate containing EPA Registered Anti Fungal and Anti Microbial additive(s) to yield a high performance protective Coating which is resistant to the growth and spread of Spores Bacteria, Mold, Mildew and Fungus on the Surfaces where the Coating is applied.

Application Areas

This safe tough durable low odor protective coating has extremely good adhesion and durability on most clean and properly prepared substrates. The coating effectively resists the growth and controls the spread of mould, mildew, fungi, bacteria and harmful spores.

Surface Preparation / Cleaning

The surface should be sand blasted adhering to SA 2.5 specifications. Surface should be free of oil, grease, dust and loose particles. For mechanical cleaning surface should be sand blasted to min. ST 2 standards. Soundly prepared surfaces will lead to a better paint application. When used over old coating systems, the surface must be clean, dry and properly anchored.

Store in a cool ( ~25°C ) and dry area, and keep away from direct sun light. For detailed handling procedures please refer to product's MSDS. When stored properly, product has a 1 Year shelf life.
